RICHARD COLBURN

Richard began his career with [then unsigned] Belle and Sebastian.  While only 1000 vinyl copies of their debut album “Tiger Milk” were released in 1996, they quickly developed an underground following by word of mouth.  By 1998 they were signed to Jeepster records in the UK and Matador records in the US and had charmed both sides of the Atlantic with their album “The Boy with the Arab Strap”. 

Richard continues to play with Brit Award winners Belle & Sebastian, as well as doing stints as drummer for Snow Patrol and The Reindeer Section.
