ISOBEL CAMPBELL

An original member of Brit Award-winning band Belle and Sebastian, Isobel played cello and later contributed her light-as-air vocals and songwriting talents to the group. While still with B&S Bel released her first solo album under the name of 'The Gentle Waves'. By 2003 Bel had left B&S to concentrate on her solo career and released the beguiling 'Amorino'. Since then she has gone on to release the Mercury Prize-nominated album 'Ballad of the Broken Seas', a collaboration with Mark Lanegan of Queens of the Stone Age.
